An exceptional space and a genial host
“The room was absolutely charming. Height, heating, bijou bathroom and separate WC. Room for 5 if needed. Agnes even thought of a kettle! Furnished in the local vernacular it felt both chic and comforting. Any time I could go back, I will.”

I came back because it is such a great place to stay!
“The rooms are clean, attractive, and a super private shower. The location is very convenient to go in all directions, Le Puy is a beautiful and historic city. Agnes and Francois are very friendly hosts and I enjoyed the breakfasts. I also had dinner with them and the conversation was very stimulating, both speak excellent English if your French is lacking like mine. I have been here twice and will return again when I visit France. I spent 4 nights here and the bike riding in the region is fantastic. I highly recommend this quiet countryside B&B.”

Everything you could hope for
“I feel fortunate to have found this excellent B&B. It is easy to reach from the N88 but quiet and quite typically French in architecture, with added style from the sympathetic barn conversion: there is a wonderful double-height reception room. As I was travelling alone I had the smaller bedroom; this was in fact very spacious with generous bathroom and separate toilet. Very comfortable bed and a lovely view from the windows. The standard French breakfast was made more delicious by Agnes’ homemade jams – and I also appreciated her skills in her own pre-dinner drinks and very good food. The hosts, Agnes and Francois, are charming and helpful, speak good English and ensured that my one ‘table d’hotes’ was convivial and fine company (with Italian and German-speaking fellow guests!).”

An enchanting place
“An enchanting place! A drive through the forest and the last house to the left, so typical of the region, awaits you. The magic doesn’t stop there. Once inside, you are greeted with the warmth and good taste of the owners. We stayed in the Desirade suite and were quite saddened that we had to leave the next morning. We felt so much at home there and the surrounding area was a dream to behold. I could go on but you might get the impression that I’m being paid to say nice things (I’m not). We are definitely going back again without hesitation. “

Warm hospitaliy and superb views
“We stayed here for one night last year en route to Provence and enjoyed it so much we returned again this year, for two nights.
Agnes and Francois made us so welcome we felt as if we were staying with friends. “

Very charm place!
“Having booked by booking the farm was a nice surprise. The garden and the terrasse have a fantastic view and we enjoyed taking dinner and breakfast outside. The rooms are nice decorated in a “farm” style and there are big and clean as the rest of the house. I cannot imagine a better relax place to spend some holiday days reading a good book in the quiet garden!”
